Would it be feasible to commute from Buford, GA to work in Atlanta, right by Lenox mall?

My wife and I are moving to the atlanta area. We would like to live somewhere between Atlanta and Gainesville, GA becuase that is where her parents live. We were looking at the Buford area. My office is located right by Lenox mall and I wanted to get a feel of whether the commute would be bearible. I dont mind leaving earlier and will be trveling approx one day a week so I wanted to see what people thought.

That is a great locale, nice town and not a bad commute.

Of course , all commutes into the perimeter are time consuming, that area is not so bad.

if you only need to travel one day a week go for it. i live in atlanta near atlantic station and i travel from lawrenceville to atlanta 5 days a week. it also depends of the time of day because in the mornings after 8 am  going north traffic is terrible. and in the afternoon starting at about 5 pm  going south it's bumper to bumper.
