Hello everyone, I'm planning to visit Italy for a week or two I always like Italy and everything about it the food culture...etc. but I'm wondering would I face some problems with the Italians because I'm Muslim girl and I wear headcover? (I don't cover my face and I don't wear veil)

I've been in Europe before (France, Switzerland.. etc) and I didn’t face any problem. My brother also been in Italy before and said the people there were nice and friendly, but still I'm wondering about my self as a women and how the Italian deal with strangers and foreigners. Thank you.. ciao

  1. Ciao

you'll not find any problem, there are many Ladies wearing the head cover.

    Enjoy Italy

    Ciao

  2. NO PROBLEM AT ALL

italy is beautiful we except ALMOST everyone

lol...our country is full of gypsys

  3. Italians really are nice and friendly people. i don't think you'll have problems there. And after you'll come from Italy please tell me how it was because i also want to visit Italy.

  4. Do not worry. In general (of course you will find idiots in Italy, but you will find idiots in every country), Italians are very friendly people. I went to Italy a few years ago and absolutely loved it. You will have a great time there! It is a beautiful country.

  5. Islamic women traditions and their way to dress are well known and welcome everywhere in Italy. Nowadays Muslim women are also living in the smallest villages and therefore we are more used than in the past to see them, without any wonder for their look.

All of us we know that's a part of yr religion and, aside a minimal part of stupid people (which mom is anytime pregnant-as we say here in Italy-) you'll have for sure non problem due to yr headcover. Our women too ,if of a Christian religion, should cover their heads when they enter the christian churches...!!!

We are an open Country, friendly with anyone who is our friend.

Come to Italy quietly and enjoy it.

    Ciao.

  6. If you stick to touristy places, you'll be fine.  If you go "off the beaten path" to places where tourism isn't an important industry and people aren't exposed to different cultures, you will probably be faced with some ignorance and resentment.  I found that the most prejudiced Italians were those who grew up in small towns, so you'd do well to stick to bigger-ish cities.

  7. Don't worry! Italy is very nice country and you won't have any problem at all! So, go there and enjoy!
