What do you think they wear - sawn-off full-size jeans?  Only donate used clothing of any sort to anybody if you're sure the recipient won't be offended.

No not really, but you would need to use discretion in the way you go about the donation, for instance, ask a mutual friend if they thought the person in mind would be offended.
