Ok, so my 16th is almost a year away, but I can't help thinking about it non the less. I don't know what to do for it because I don't want something big (my parents can't afford it anyway) and although I have friends from school, I'd much rather just invite my 2 best friends from swimming. Would it be ok to just invite my 2 best friends from swimming to go shopping and eat out somewhere? But then again I don't want them thinking I don't have friends at school... :S

  1. If they were true friends they would understand im sure they will just tell them and the have a b-day sleepover with them ! And have your swim friends drop you of at the house so they can meet your school friends !!!HAPPY B_DAY AND HAVE A HAPPY SWEET SIXTEEN!

  2. Just invite your really close friends from school and swimming and like go to the movies or shopping or something like that

  3. well just invite who you want to invite its your party and if your friends think you don't have other friends then just tell them the truth or something

  4. It's your 16th birthday! Do what you want :)

  5. no definitly not!!

    its your b-day u do wat u want .....

    enjoy ur b-day!

    .....=)

  6. Well if you don't want your two best friends thinking that you have no friends at school you could invite both your friends from school and your friends from swimming. But if you didn't want to do that I would probable do two separate sixteens one with your two best friends from swimming to go shopping and go out to eat and then one with your school friends to have a sleepover or somthing like that. Anyways really i would mostlikly choose my friends from swimming.

  7. The best answer is the one that will make you the happiest. For example, if you're worried that your 2 friends will think you don't have any friends, tell them you wanted a special celebration with just those 2 because they're special friends.

    Just because your parents can't afford a big expensive bash for your 16th birthday doesn't mean you can't have a great celebration. You've got a year to come up with some ideas.

    1. Have a bake sale.

    2. Sell CDs

    3. Babysitter

    4. Housesitter

    5. Part-time job

    As far as the other friends from school, consider a bigger party to include all your friends at a less expensive place like a bowling alley or rollerskating rink.

    Either way, have a SPLENDID 16th birthday!
