It would probably be more ethical to do it sober, but whatever. Get hammered and mention something marginally g*y, or ask him about girls he's interested in. etc.

Yes... I don't think you should; you need to understand the cause of doing that... You'll make him pull away once he realizes what he's done. He has to come out when HE's ready in order for him to be comfortable enough to talk to you about it.

It's ok to joke about doing it but to cross the line to do something like that would be wrong it would make him feel like he was raped even tho it wasn't in a sexual way but pscycolgically yes.
