Would it be odd for a 16 year old to start skateboarding?

I'm thinking of skateboarding. I've never skateboarded before, well, when I was 8 or 9 I rode on one. Come to think of it now, it is pretty fun.

So would it be weird to see a 16 year old try to skateboard? Is it possible for one this age to actually become good?

lol dude i just started skating and im 15 i started about 5 to 6 months ago....... it would not be weird it was just weird people askin why you suck so much just tell em... i said i hate them XD and yeah you can get good check my video i put on youtube lol..... i suck XD

Course it not wierd. is it weird for a someone to play football at 16? but if you start at 16 its quite funny becase every one expects you to have been training for years. but nah man go for it

16 is not too old. More people start at, around, that age then you might think. As for getting good, it's quite possible just skate all the time, that is, take your skateboard with you everywhere you go.

Yeah dude go for it. Theres nothin that u cant do. And s***w what other people say man do what you want to do. If you want to break your neck skating do it!(jk) Nah man i love skating. And i started wen i was 11 but im still not great. Anyways do it and have fun!
