  1. this really is personally preference - are you talking about the comforter or the sheet set?  either way of course you can pull it off but the question is, do you want to?  the sheets will be too big for the mattress BUT you can always tug the extra in and you can buy these clips at (Walmart/Target/Kmart,etc) for a few dollors that clip the sheet onto the mattress to prevent the sheet from shifting.  if it's the comforter it really depends on how you want to sleep with it...for example i have a king size bed but i use a queen comforter for the summer cuz my husband and i don't need much blanket but we change to a king size comforter in the winter so we both get the extra blanket to wrap around in.  so in the end, it's really just up to you!  good luck!

  2. I honestly think you would really regret it. It will be much too big, and you'll never get a tight fit. It'll just pull and bunch up and you'll constantly be fixing it. Go for a queen set, you'll be much happier.

  3. I used a king comforter on my queen bed, it did not look right to me. I did not leave it on long.

  4. It would probably drag on the ground unless your Queen bed is up very high off the floor.
