Would it be okay to marry this guy?

I really like this guy, and I'm not sure if I can date him. Would it be okay to date him and marry him if his grandma is sisters with my great grandma? Its from my dad's side and his dad's side. He's just a year older than me and I really like him.

You could legally marry him.  If your extended family isn't very close it would be okay.  It may be strange if you are all really close.  Good luck!

yes you could marry him. he's not your first cousin. it is perfectly legal in all 50 states to marry him.

Ooh, I was really intrigued by the family tree nature of this question.  If I'm correct, you are second cousins once removed, which is perfectly legal, though could be awkward if you share your last name (unlikely, as both sisters would have married and probably changed their names).

I'm also thinking that you and this guy's dad are second cousins, and your grandparents are cousins with his father.
