Would it be possible for a tourist to take the GED exam?

My sister is a 17-year-old who came here last June 10, 2008 having a tourist visa, she have not completed her high school in the philippines but she wish to study here. Just want to know if she could take the GED exam then if she pass, where going to work out wiht her student visa. Would passport and a valid I-140 be enough to register for GED exam?

you could but you would have to repeat some testing when she went back home. my friend pierre had to repeat his whole senior year when he got back to france
