There is not much methane in burps. If you want to save gas out of the other end you may have some energy. I had a room mate who would go over to the pool with and old butter tub and collect his gas by catching bubbles. He would give us a nice surprise by opening the tub at the dinner table. When he lit it it produced a nice flame.
