Question:

Would it be possible to take apart an 2.5 external hard drive to use for a PS3 ?

already tried using google no answers really. And using it externally.......whats the point if you can't store your information to be pulled up via the PS3. Also its cheaper to buy external 2.5 hard drives than it is to buy a internal 2.5 hard drive.

  4. I also looked this up a little while ago.

    60% of external 2.5" hdd run sata to usb 2.0. this will work

    the other 38% runs ide to usb 2.0

    All of seagates 2.5" hdd manufactured since 2004 are sata to usb 2.0.

    And to help ya out some more, they current are running a sale on their website. a 320gb 2.5" external was $42 shipped
