Would it be possible to time-travel back to the 60's?

I heard of wormholes but you could die from going trough them.

Unfortunately, at the moment, the only theoretical way we know how to time travel is into the future.  You can do it "slowly" by just sitting there, or "really quickly" by getting into a *really* fast moving object.  So far, that's the tried and true way to time travel.

And anyway, would you want something like the Terminator happening to you?  Someone from the future coming back and trying to kill your parents/grandparents/etc. before you were born?  Probably a good thing people can't go back in time.  

Plus, wouldn't you think if backward time travel was possible, we'd see people from the future here, spying on us?  No one looks that interested in us. ;)

You can only possibly time travel back to when you first switched on a time machine and currently no time machine has been switched on meaning no time in history to now will we ever be able to travel back to.

This because atoms can not be in the same place twice ie you going back in time and seeing yourself where in your life do you remember seeing yourself

Well as stephen Hawking said, If time travel is discovered we would be seeing people from the future. However it maybe that we will discover time travel but when the universe has warped so it will be imposssible to travel back before the time the universe became warped.
