  1. just go ask I'm sure other school participants have done it before throughout the years so just go try

  2. Yes it's a good idea...I get tired of going to these places and get stuck reading magazines from 20 yrs ago. And no, it isn't rude...you're helping your school and the waiting room is to help relax patients, not just keep them in a holding pattern til whoever they're seeing is ready. They should want current materials to relax their patients.

  3. its not rude. its just good idea. i mean people in waiting room is going be bored waiting for their turn. its would be good idea to read mazagaine in waiting room

  4. IF you are not asking for personal banking information I cannot see that as being rude.  You are trying to raise money for a good cause, explain that on the e-mail or what ever.  If it is for a local cause people are pretty open to that and it is even better if you can give them a contact telephone # or e-mail that they can check to make sure that your request is on the up and up.

  5. hair salon, perfect.

    orthodontist, why not.

but i dont know about soliciting to hospitals...

i would definately call over the phone instead of shoing up, but hair salons sound like a perfect place to sell, and orthodonist ofice, since it has that whole long waiting room thing.

  6. Hair salon & orthodontist definitely not. A hospital wouldn't be rude in my opinion, but don't try to force it. Maybe they'll have more on their minds then buying magazines.

  7. yeah it's fine, they always have magazines there, just be polite!
