Would it be safe to put hairspray on my eyelashes to make it stay curled?

Before you think I'm crazy, I'm not SPRAYING it on. I just put on little dabs with a q-tip to help it stay curled, and it's working a bit. This is because my eyelashes almost immediately uncurl after I curl them. But I'm wondering if this is in any way unsafe?

i say its unsafe.

because when you wash your face after to take it off. it might get into your eyes and you might get hurt.

just use mascara!

This is very unsafe.  The chemicals would be too close to your eyes and could very well damage them.

Well, I don't know for sure, but what I'm thinking is something like this.

If you sweat, the hairspray may drip into your eyes causing them to BURN.

If you have contact lenses, it may be unsafe or cause a problem.

I think there is a special gel that comes on a mascara brush just for that. Surf the net to see if you can find some.

noooo ur eyelashes will dry out just like hair dries out from hairspray, i highly DONT reccomend it.

i wouldn't try it. try using mascara with extra volume. the curling mascara doesn't work for me either. I like maybelline XXL with the balck and white sides the most

Not safe in the slightest. Hairspray is extremely toxic and will cause damage if it gets in your eyes. As you blink, your eyelashes become a little moist and the hairspray can run into your eyes.

Try warming your eyelash curler a little before use instead.

I would not do that. I'm not sure about the medical risks, but hairspray in the eyes KILLS! It hurts so bad! I would never risk it.

no because it so close to your high that your eye can probably sense it. i think it will sting and its probably unsafe.

Oh you scared me! I'm sure it's fine. Eyebrows are the same hair the grows on our head. As long as it's not getting in your eyes.
