Would it be safe to put sargassum seaweed that i found at the beach in my saltwater tank? ?

i don't want it to be dangerous and kill all my fish or bring diseases in. it was sitting on the shore and still alive, but had dried out a bit. and also will my yellow tang eat it?

I wouldn't put it in your tank. Beaches are filthy and you could introduce tons of bacteria and disease in your tank.
