Would it be strange to write a letter to the airline company praising a flight attendant?

My flight attendant was extremely kind and hard working. The thing is that it was in business class where it is expected, but he was really a phenomenal worker and flight attendant.

  1. Not at all.  I'm sure it would be appreciated and go in that attendant's personnel file........

  2. No, no, no...not strange at all.  I'm a Flight attendant and would love it if I got an orchid letter.  Make sure you note the day, flight number and his/her name!!!

  3. I would say go for it. People are quick to complain these days when really we should be just as quick to offer praise.

  4. They will love it. It allso it   will go on record

  5. Do it!  People do it all the time but still not enough and it's really appreciated.  Be specific in your letter like flight number, date of flight, name of flight attendant if possible or at least which cabin you were sitting so the right person gets the praise.  Write down exactly why he/she was great.  So often we only hear the negatives about flying that it's nice when passengers appreciate the service we give.  The company I work for has an internal monthly newsletter that prints these letters to give recognition to the flight attendants.  This is the only way great flight attendants get noticed and also a way to weed out the bad ones.  Your flight attendant will probably get a copy and it will definitely make her smile with appreciation.

  7. A letter like that is always a good idea. Sometimes we are fast to complain and slow to praise.  Do it today.
