i have a 1 week practice at school in the summer. my parents wil both be at work so they can't drop me off. but they can pick me up when it ends. So....they're telling me to just walk..........But the school is like 4 or 5 miles away and it would take about 30-40 minutes...! is it too far to walk? won't it be weird?

  1. The walk would take you about an hour.  I bet when you are out with friends you have walked that far and further hundreds of times over the years, so don't play so hard done by.  You expect one of your parents to quit work to drive you to your classes for one week?  Heck I am 61 years old, survived a car accident that broke my neck in 3 places, and I can walk it.

  2. No its not weird or too far to walk plus you will get a good workout and you might get lucky and find something of value while you are walking...

  3. take the metro or something or if there is none of those, 4-5 miles is not that far unless you have some diseases

  4. you would have to be walking 10 miles an hour to get 5 miles in 30 min. So umm...unless you think you can do that and sprint for 30 mins, yea its too far of a walk and it would take you a few hours.

  5. Yes. Especially if your under 18, have breathing problems, ir any type of medical issue. Maybe you could do carpool with a friend. Anyway besides walking.
