Would it be too hot in the Bahamas to wear leggings?

Lightweight leggings would be fine...

It's not really the 'heat' that gets you, but the humidity.

So, that said, I think it all depends upon what kind of summers you are used to. Here in Arizona where the air is very dry, I can wear the outfit described, but I would likely roast in the Bahamas from the added humidity!

Right now in the summer it would be too hot for leggings. With the heat and humidity, you would be to warm. In the winter months, very light weight ones would be okay at night.

The less clothes the better in the summer.

shouldn't be.  As long as they aren't REALLY thick winter leggings.  I wear leggings all summer (well when it suits my outift. lol)

Its pretty hot and humid here - I live here part time and wouldn't wear leggings, it's just too warm.  Just wear the light dress and flip flops and you'll be much more comfortable.
