  1. December is the absolute latest you can take it if you want it to be on your college apps. If its your first time taking it, then youre going to need to before then or else you wont be able to apply. I'd suggest taking the ACT also so you can a few more opportunities in before then.

  2. nope. you have plenty of time, if you don't do well on it, you can still take it in dec, jan...etc.

these are the dates for SAT for this year

    October 4, 2008

    November 1, 2008

    December 6, 2008

    January 24, 2009

    March 14, 2009

    May 2, 2009

    June 6, 2009

    Good luck!

  3. It will be too late if you're applying to most public colleges. It might make ED deadlines for private colleges if you rush report...I think. Don't take my word for it. It should definitely make it in time to meet any late December/early January regular decision deadlines.

  4. Nope. Unless you're applying for early decision -whose deadline is November, so the scores probably won't be in by then.

Most colleges application deadlines are in December so you should be fine.  If you're still worried, theres one in October I think, you could just take that one (I'm probably going to take SAT IIs then)
