I'm 15 and going to be a sophomore in high-school. Last year i had a teacher for spanish (who no longer teachers at my school, but rather another one nearby). I am wondering if it would be okay to add her over facebook...we already have 3 mutual friends that are in my grade, so i know she will accept the request. the only thing i am worried about is if this is really weird or awkward for me to add her. what do you guys think?

  1. noo..

  2. Of course not, i think. Go ahead

  3. I would think there are two main factors.  1st if you were a good student in her class and find it okay to talk to her, then add her.  BUT if you were kinda obnoxious and got low grades, it would be rather odd...

  4. That's not to weird, as long as as see her as a teacher and not

a buddy or something. I can't be to sure because i wasn't real

school orientated in high school. I'm sure it isn't weird though,

keeping ties close with people is always a good thing.

  5. I know people who have added former teachers...but there's no point if you won't even talk to her.

  6. naw as long your cool with her

  7. no, unless you have inappropriate things on there or other things you wouldnt want a former teacher to see. I have my mom on mine!!

  8. Sure. It sounds like the teacher does not have a problem with adding previous students seeing as how she has 3 friends in your grade already. Also, all you can do is request her as a friend, right? If it's not okay with her then she won't accept your request.

  9. yeah, I don't think you will talk to her, but I think its not weird...
