Would it be weird to shake someone's hand everytime you see them?

If it's a guy you think is kind of cute and you didn't shake his han the first time you met him (it's a long story) and then you told him you would shake his hand later and you shook his hand in the hall.....would it be weird to do it everytime you see him just messing around -like?

although, this would depend on the person, i don't think that would be weird at all. he'd probably think it was cute.

I don't think that would be weird at all. Everyone has a personal set of societal norms but there is a general one for the society you live in too. In most societies it wouldn't be normal to shake someones hand everytime you saw them, but if you're just joking around, why not?  I would try it and if he's weirded out by it, don't do it again. If he thinks it's funny or cute, go for it.
