Do you have to get really good grades to get in?

Would I have to take sats?

Would it be really expensive/would it be easy to get a bursary?

  1. It really just depends on the University you have your eye on. Some are better in the US some are better in the UK as well as some are more expensive, some are cheeper. It really just depends on what you find. Do some reasearch and see the price ranges for any Universitys you have your eye on in both places. Same with smarts and grades, it depends on the University.

To get into college in the US. I know SATs are practically required, but it doesn't cost that much to take, and it just takes about a day do [not a whole day, not even half] and their not all that hard if you've gone to school lol. I dont think all Colleges require SAT's in the US, and others require ACTs instead or as well. But it depends on where in the US you are talking about.

Entering college from out of States in the US does make a difference in the cost. Like for example, I'm from Colorado so any college I go to in Colorado I automatacally get a discount. Bursary, shouldn't be to hard to get though, many University's in the US offer them for a varitey of reasons. It just takes a little reasearch.

I dont know anything about the UK so I cant compare ^^;;; Good luck finding a good University!!!

  2. it seems to be more expensive to go to uni in US. Why not study in the Uk where u get cheaper fees if u hold a british passport?

  3. Depends on the School on your first question.

SATs, I don´t know how they treat students from foreign schools, they might take into account whatever you did, there.

What´s a bursary?  It IS expensive, but, with the strength of the pound, you might not think so much so.  Again, that depends according to the school you apply to.

  4. well your GPA (Grade Point Average) has to be good, SAT scores are required for most universities.

    i'm sure about the bursary.

but it depends on how long you plan on attending, where you attend and what your major is.

  5. From what I've heard, it is MUCH more expensive in the US, plus I'd assume it wouldn't be easy to get a bursary or anything since you're an international student. You would also have to take SATs (although I'm pretty sure they're mostly multiple choice questions...). Obviously it depends on the university for how good your grades have to be. If I were you, I'd stick to the UK (it takes less time to do your bachelor's too, three years in the UK compared to four in the US).

  6. A good universtiy in the UK is considered just as good as in the US - unless you want to get on in a US sport such as basketball
