  1. My aunt & my mother both use to dress up when they took us out trick or treating.. my aunt use to go CRAZII.. with her outfits.. & who cares what everyone else thinks.. if you want to do it.. do it!! It will prob. make it super fun for you and your kids.. :)

  2. When I was young my mom sometimes would dress up. It was so fun for me; kids sometimes don't understand how adults could not think a cool holiday like Halloween would be fun! So, dress up, share in your son's joy as long as he is having fun too. (By the way, when my kids were growing up and I was handing out candy, I enjoyed seeing the parents who came to our house dressed up also. Halloween is a good time to just let go and be a kid again!)

  3. Are you kidding? I dress up every Halloween! I love it. Honestly, one of the reasons I became a teacher is that it's practically in our job description to wear a costume to work on Halloween. Have fun with it.

  4. i think the family costumes are just awesome. one year we did the wizard of oz and my mom was dorthy but she wore a really modest costume with white stretchy pants (back when they were all the rage haha) but i think it'd be fine to dress up with your son. just don't wear something s**y and/or revealing. that'd only be an immature move on your part.

    try something like this:

http://www.costumeshopper.com/Merchant2/... simple, cheap and cute for a mom :)

http://cgi.ebay.com/s****.-DOO-VELMA-HAL... your son could be s****. or something lol

just whatever you do, save the s**y strawberry shortcake costume for the adult parties

  5. i dressed up every year that i took my son out for trick or treat every year i would ask him what i should dress up as so he helped make it more fun. now that he is older and according to him way to cool to be seen with his mother or to trick or treat, i still dress up to pass out candy.

  6. I dress up every year. Last year i was a pirate wench. the year before i was raggedy Anne and the year before i was the evil witch from sleeping beauty. I have been a carebear, a my little pony, Darth Vader and many other childish things. I allow my kids to pick my costumes. I was a pirate wench when my son was a pirate. Darth Vader when he was R2D2. Tinky Winky when my oldest dressed as Po. Halloween is meant to be fun. If you want a costume go for it.

  7. dress up!!! its fun and you have an excuse because you have a kid, im going to be like 5 1/2 months pregnant on halloween and im dressing up!

  8. Nothing wrong at all!  Tons of moms do it, and tons of adults who don't even have kids do it!  The latter of which is, I admit, a little creepy if they're not out with friends partying, but what can you do?

In any case, I'm 20 and I still enjoy dressing up every year!

  9. well now is a good time to show your child to be an individual and not do what everybody else wants u to do.....watch ET and wear that outfit the mother wore

  10. don't overdo the costume and make sure your kid is young enough to not care.

  11. I always dress up for halloween. If it's s**y,I don't think you should be taking your kid around like that. But fun and silly costumes are great.Leave the s**y costumes in the closet for grown up parties.

  12. do it. it is so much fun to be a kid again. and my kids love it when mommy dresses up. truthfully, i didn't dress up last year and I felt like the odd ball out. much funner to have fun.

  13. I would dress up but I would not make it to s**y....but it should be fun for your kids and yourself...enjoy it while they are young they will grow up fast

  14. I think it would be a lot of fun to dress up for Halloween. My mom used to love Halloween and she would dress up to give out the treats. It is supposed to be a fun and spooky night.I would stick with something simple and definitely not s**y.Save that type of costume if you go out to an adult party. Maybe you could dress in a theme with your son,for example a cowboy and a cowgirl or pirates. My sister made her own Minnie Mouse costume and wore it to the nursing home where she works. The residents loved it.Have fun.Take care.
