Would it be wrong to buy an adult dog as a companion for my blind dog when our other one passes?

He is so dependant on her, yet- I don't know if that would be a burden to another dog?

I believe it is good for humans as well as animals to have companionship , and no I don't think it would be a burden on your other dog, they will probably be best of friends and it would also be nice to go to the pound and pick and nice older dog out, maybe you can explain the situation to the pound they may even let you bring your dog along to help you find the dog's new friend!  Good Luck with this!

  2. Dogs grieve too. I would give your dog time.

    You should really go to a shelter and see which dog is compatible with your blind one. If you are serious and want to help your dog, most shelters are willing to find the bet fit for you and your dog.
