Would it help if we reported all these questions in the wrong section?

Since YA is putting all questions with & symbol in them in the hockey section, would it make them fix the glitch faster if we all clicked the REPORT ABUSE button on them?

All I know is I got a Violation Notice e-mail for answering a question with the words "Two minutes in the penalty box for asking a non-hockey question in the Hockey section." I've appealed it.  No word from Y!A on it yet.

So go ahead and report them.

maybe if the people asking the questions actually looked where they are posting it would help too... ever give that a thought

I reported it 4 days ago. No response yet. Not even an automated acknowledgment. Maybe Jerry's too busy brownnosing at Paul's place.

Since the community guidelines require you to correctly categorize the question, all improperly posted questions are in violation of Yahoo's guidelines. So if we click the abuse button report it as wrong section. Post a note to others that you have done so (picking up your two points) and forcing Yahoo to fix their problem it might work.

Let's give it a try.

I just reported 8 wrong postings and picked up 16 points in the process. We'll see what happens.

Not likely. You won't really rush yahoo,they'll fix it when they fix it. Posting in the wrong category is not against the rules,report only if they do break the rules. If you do not answer the question it would be a violation. Two options ignore it or hang out in a different section
