  1. different people learn things differently;

    some people learn best by reading, some people by writing, some people by associating pictures, some people with colours, some people with idea chart/bubble (what we used to be allowed to call brain storms) and so on.

    try out a few techniques with a couple of subjects and write a list of questions you want to ask yourself in a few days to a week.

    when doing my a levels i always found i used lots of colours and writing things down in my own format in categories helped me, and i put it all in a folder. i added the stuff i wanted to remember to my questions list for each subject category and when revision started or when doing essays it was all there.

  2. to sit with a friend and go through it together - its more fun that way and more structured

  3. im now a degree student- id reccomend you do ONE thing at a time, as in ONE! if you learnt algebra, reproduction and judaism- the chances are they will be a weeks worth of lessons.

    make yourself a timetable and say right, monday night is maths night, tuesday is science night, wednesday i have off, thursday i do RE friday i do something else and the weekend is free. the best way to get good gcse results is to pace yourself and not try and bombard yourself with several different topics all at the same time, and this is coming from experiance!

    get yourself some cgp revision guides, stick post it notes on the pages that are relavent to you and work your way through them, i got 1 a, three bs and 6 c's on my gcses so i dont think i did that badly!

    good luck and remember- dont stress yourself over nothing, there is a chance to resit!
