Would it help the economy if we all sent our empty credit card offer envelopes back?

Every time we get a credit card offer in the mail if we send the empty envelope back to the credit card company they have to pay for postage. If everyone did that it could accumulate into a lot of money for the post office away from credit card companies. Would that make any difference?
