Would it hurt anything to uninstall microsoft.net framewok 2.0 service pack 1 from my computer

i am tying to clear u some space on my computer and this is rarely used and I do not know what is it or why ot is there. do i need it (here is size, last used and frequency of use)

will it hurt to uninstall it or is it needed for something

For normal application it will not create any problem. but if have like VB2005 or some applications are require Microsoft.net framework 2.0.

Nope it wouldnt hurt, it will not harm your computer or lose anything important if you uninstall it.
