Would it look and sound stupid to put a sub in my car?

I have a 2003 Gold Honda CR-V that is in really good condition. I was wanting to put a sub and amp in the back for music but i wasn't sure if it would sound or look stupid to have loud bass coming from a car like that. Help me. No smart a** responses please.

it will look fine. however, change your factory speakers before you do anything with the sub. easy upgrade that takes 1 hour max.

But to answer your question, its going to look fine and youll be pleased with the sound if you choose the right equipment. Dont overdo it, you dont sound like youre wanting a ton of low end. Just get something that will please you

It wouldnt look dumb really ive been installing car audio for a while and it never hurts to have a little something extra,check out mtx and get one of there pre made deals it come with a built in amp and would tuck back out of the way.

no offene but it would look pretty stupid u should just get better speakers. my sis took out the bass speakers from a blaster and it sounds great.

Not necessarily.  They actually make enclosures that don't take up much room in a small SUV like a CR-V if you want to try and conceal it some.

Why would improving the sound of your system be stupid. if anything its a smart move.
