Would it make a difference in post season?

If the Tampa Bay Rays decide to call up David Price from minor leagues for the post season would it change their chances of going further?

  1. no i dont think it would make a differnce it would kind of be setting up you prised gem of there farm system up for failure because it is kind of hard to just throw him into the post season and his physcy might get messed up for his whole career


  2. maybe they will do better or do worse because he never faced major league hitting thats taking a chance because he was never in the majors

  3. He'll probably be brought up when the rosters expand on Sept. 1st.  They'll give him some innings and see how he does.  If he does well, it might be a good idea to put him on the playoff roster since no one has seen him before.  Another good reliever is always a plus.

  4. The dynamics of the team wouldn't change that much.  And if they're going to make any kind of move they will have to do it by September 1st, as the rosters can't change after that.

  5. i say give him a start or two in september and see how he does. they've got the division pretty much on lockdown so they can afford 1 game if for some reason he gets smoked

  6. Hes young and inexperienced so it would be stupid to bring him up. Give him at least one more year to develop and let him make his debut next year.
