im a pats fan and i was pissed when they lost the superbowl(especially beacause it was on my birthday). but i dont think they should because their defense is missing key players

They are still the best team, everyone just hates them, and that doesn't make them any worse.

yea, just like we coulda just gave it to them at the start of last year. and they are definitely not the team they were last year. their linebackers are all AARP members, and they lost donte stallworth who made a huge impact for them on offense last year. granted, these reasons wont keep them out the playoffs, theyll still win between 11 and 13 games, but they will have to earn it themselves in the playoffs. they will easily win their division, but the afc is so strong with teams like the colts, chargers, steelers, and jags, as well as teams on the rise like cleveland. u cant even give them a trip to the super bowl right now, much less a super bowl ring. and heres another stat for u. i know the preseason doesnt count but the pats have lost the past two times they took the field.

Absolutely not. They have to earn it by making the playoffs, going undefeated in the playoffs, advancing to the Super Bowl, and winning the Super Bowl. I have a feeling they won't though, the Patriots "dynasty," if you can call it that, is over.

Yeah I mean look at the 19-0 season they had last year.  Why even play the season.

The NFL keeps getting stronger, and the Pats will definitely not go undefeated this year. Not even in their own division. Just not gonna happen. They've got a hangover from the superbowl, and always will.
