  1. Nothing there but an extremely hot and dense Iron core. It's much more interesting to explore space! Have you seen Hubble Telescope images?

    *sigh*

  2. Well Why??   They know basically what is there.Molten core etc.   hostile environment.. Not like some of the fantasy adventure films, like Journey to the centre of the Earth etc.. Space offers far more to mankind,

  3. Apart from the fact that it's so hot nothing would survive long before you got even remotely close to being still nowhere near the centre, yeah, great idea. What a silly billy

  4. No, we have a good idea of what is at the centre of the Earth, and there is nothing worth exploring. Exploring space can teach us a lot about the formation of the solar system and there's always a possibility of finding life on Mars or Europa.

Personally I think we should spend more money exploring the deep oceans though, as we know so little about them.

  5. it would be beneficial to find ways to tap into the energy since fossil fuels are running low & nobody wants nuclear power, most don't like windfarms ( in the uk we call them n.i.m.b.y. meaning not in our back yard) but they are planning for the future when the earth is spent & useless.

  6. No.  Our future does not lie down in the bowels of the Earth.
