  1. You need working visa.

  2. If you have a student visa in Canada, you're allowed to work at whichever school you go to on campus. For example if your school has a bookstore or any fast food places, you could work there. To work anywhere else, you need to apply for a work visa which takes a few months to approve and if you're only here for 6 months I'm not sure if you have a good chance of getting one.

  3. You can't work or get hired on a student visa, you're there for school, you'd need a work visa in order to work.  You might be able to work on campus but not in regular employment outside of the school.

  4. If you are not a Canadian citizen, then Immigration Canada is the agency you will need to contact on that issue.  They have their own special screening process and the visa is a work visa that is the end result of a successful campaign for a "positive labor opinion," meaning that you will have made your case that a worker for that job, with your specific set of skills, could not be found in all of Canada.  The employer and you would work together on this campaign, to "sponsor" you for a work visa.
