I was thinking of transferring to Cal Poly Pomona but it seems like the application filing date for Fall 2008 was in October to November 2007 so I was wondering if I can still get accepted.

  1. yes

  2. Most likely they will not accept your application and you might even loose the filing fee. I would recommend calling the admissions office first to see if there is a possibility of applying after the deadline before doing anything else.

  3. Most schools review late applications as room allows. The more competitive the school, the less likely they will review your application after the deadline, let alone accept you. Definitely call the office of admissions, they know the situation best and can advise you accordingly. Why not just apply for a later quarter to Cal Poly Pomona, and that will leave you a lot of options for that term like working, traveling, continuing at your old school for one more term or saving money by taking some GREs at a community college? Good luck!
