Would it still be safe?

It is storming out side and I am in desprate need of a shower. The pipes are plastic(110% sure). And blast my cd player at the same time?

No.  Don't take a shower till the storm passes.  Just listen to cd's.

Try to stay away from anything powered by a electric outlet. Battery powered is okay.

Stay away from any plumbing. Even if the pipes are plastic the water is still a conductor. And that quarter-inch or so of plastic that the pipe is made of not going to stop any lightning.

Also stay away from any windows.

same here. I had to wait till it went by and jumped in and out of shower. The electricity went out as soon as I got out of shower so I had to put on my make-up by flash light. Still thunder and rain tonight. LOL
