Like how cool was that. Years ago a woman saved Footscray from sinking, while the men sat back and would have let it happen.

Bob Ansett saved North Melbourne last time,what have they got now.

Norths training ground is taking up valuable real estate close to town, in the eyes of many.And the AFL's head honcho was a North player. Interesting concept

I am not sure what will save North Melbourne. I don't think going to the Gabba will help. Playing at Sydney and Canberra hasn't saved or improved the finances at Arden Street. So, I don't know what will help them. Will a merger be a reality with maybe Footscray? Otherwise, I just don't see North surviving, Fitzroy survived, kinda sorta, by joining with Brisbane. That may be the only way North makes it.

With all the matches scheduled for Gold Coast, I think the Roos are going to need a lot of help to keep them here, the good thing is they have started the right way by signing Laidley as coach.

It's the memberships that will help keep the Roos in Victoria.

If there is a woman in the Kangaroos system willing to have a go,  I see no problem with that whatsoever!   The Kangaroos since 1970 have won 4 flags ,Collingwood 1 , The Pies Fill grounds the Roos can't .    The Pies are known in every corner  of the country because one of their own, Lou Richards invented the COLLIWOBBLES.        Geelong had the "handbag" tag and these things although derogatory , are a "marketing tool".   People in here are always ragging Collingwood , at the same time, its "pure promotion" of the BRAND, and the Kangaroos just simply lack that!        A good thing is, YOUR question now is giving thought to, and PROMOTING the ROOS, thats a start,  so what  ways could  we help pump up, or kick start a derogatory  shinboner campaign to keep people TALKING about them ?.     Maybe Big Kev could find a "problem" with their draw .  The early season  attack by Wayne Carey on Dean Laidley, was a great "derogatory marketing" promotion for the club, good or bad, the media, papers and  footy shows, were TALKING about The Roos , then you look where they finished the season !    If it takes a woman to put some razmataz in their "SHOWBAG",I say let it Happen !

Kangas should recruit Ben Cousins to the club.  He's the expert in generating 'bad publicity' while in fact promoting the club he belongs to.  Oh and he's a great player so thats an extra bonus!

I honestly think that all the cashed up Victorian clubs should band together and save the Roos.  It would be heartbreaking to see them go under or merge.
