Videos like this for instance....

Does it put you off KFC to know that this happens to the very chicken you buy and eat?

Its not just about how they kill it, but how they treat it during the whole process of bringing it to your plate. Quite discusting.

  1. They buy chickens from farms and they canceled some contracts with some farms after videos like that surfaced.

Hey, millions chickens are killed, what's humane about that?

  2. I would rather dive head first into a bucket of my own vomit.

  3. d**n I heard about KFC cruelty, but that video opened my eyes more. PETA is an organization full of f******, because they do many stupid things when they "think" they are helping animals. In this case, they are completely right. This cruelty is horrible and unethical and makes our human race look more shameful.

I think KFC is nasty from the start. Well, it's OKAY but the chicken is so oily and greasy that it takes me a few handwashes to clean off the oil from my hands. That grease makes my stomach hurt as well. Popeye's is A LOT better than KFC, plus their chicken is there. The only reason why I ever go to KFC is because it's close. The problem is that Popeyes is far from us.

  4. err yes dont eat meat just for the fact i dont like it but as i get older the more i think ov it the more i think ov animals

  5. KFC it should be called KFP - Kentucky Fried Piegon.  There's no chicken in that - trust me.  Seek West Croydon KFC (P) for more info

  6. Chicken's are put on this earth for us to kill, and eat.

    :)

  7. They buy their chicken from Tyson, just like almost all of the other fast food places. If you have a dispute try taking it up with Tyson not poor old KFC.

  8. I work at KFC and KFC themselves doesnt do this to the chicken. KFC is a franchise and is owned by hundreds of different companies. KFC doesnt own their own farms for chickens they purchase them from farms that breed these chickens. What ever the farms do to the chickens has nothing to do with KFC. And if people didnt know the chickens you buy at the grocery store are produced the SAME EXACT way. Yes its cruel the way these farms treat chickens but if you have an issue with killing animals to eat them dont eat them.

  9. Any form of anyone eating meat is farking nasty. I have decided to stop eating meat until I can buy leg of Joe right next to the leg of lamb.  How can one call it survival if there are many things that don't need to be slaughtered and sacrificed that can fill our tummies and bodies with the nutrients neeed to survive. Plus, if it is for survival I want to see anyone who eats a McD hamburger to chow down on the tongues and brains and livers and feet of the cows and chickens. Something just gave it's life for people's finicky greed. Death to carnivores!

  10. ive seen many things that happens to kfcs chickens. It stopped me for about , hmm idk about 2 years then i just had it recently because i was hungry and needed something hunger crushing fast

  11. No, I worked there for two days when I was a student , no way would i eAt after that !

  12. I fully understand and appreciate how bad the food is for us and what they do to the chickens is wrong, but on the upper hand it still has to qualify for being edable before it can be sold to KFC. It doesn't bother me although I do feel sorry for the chickens while they're alive and clucking. It's quick easy food for when you want something tasty, its not high restaurant quality and the people that buy it are obviously aware of what it is and what it isn't.

  13. oh i know.... i still eat it occasionally.

  14. All fast food chicken comes from TYSON.

McDonald's, Wendy's, KFC, Long John Silvers, ALL OF IT.

Why people single out KFC i'll never understand, because every fast food chain on the planet gets their chicken from the same place.

On another note, millions of people get murdered brutally every year, but you are worried about some chickens? Who gives a ****? It's a chicken.

  15. I don't like KFC anyway, it grosses me out. Give me some Pop-eye's chicken any day!

  16. Oh I know. But loads of animals are killed in inhumane ways.. and are bred in similar fashions.. you just dont know about  it.

I dont eat it often.. but it is still chicken, or bird of some kind. And it still tastes nice to me.. sorry.

  17. Nope.  Wouldn't bother me a bit. THEY'RE CHICKENS, kid! Sorry, I'm not a bleeding heart. We are the top of the food chain, no matter what people claim.

What puts me off is the lack of nutritional value, the excess fat, and the amount of salt that goes into the product. I'd rather make my own.

EDIT: Your rationale is ridiculous. Your silly rant makes it sound like they take chickens from the pen and put them on the table for you. Don't let your feeeeeeeelings get in the way of reality! Now go out there and get a job. I feel sorry for YOU.

  18. These aren't "KFC chickens" --- A post made before mine states that they choose Popeye's instead but they are unaware that this is a farm and not a fast food restaurant. Popeye's...along with mcdonalds, walmart, publix, krogers, and every other supermarket get their chickens from chicken farms. None of them OWN the farms or have any operations in them.

KFC no more raises its own chickens than McDonald's maintains vast herds of beef cattle to turn into hamburgers or the IHOP tracts of wheat to use in making pancakes. These companies are in the restaurant business, not agricultural or farming business, and they buy their food products from the same suppliers as everyone else (including your local supermarket). KFCs can buy chickens from any supplier they so choose and do NOT operate their own farms. It would be IMPOSSIBLE.

KFC is NOT cruel to chickens and maintains animal welfare guidelines with all suppliers. http://www.kfc.com/about/animalwelfare_g...

All you are doing by spewing this false propaganda is hurting small businesses (small franchisees which make up VAST majority of KFCs) --- KFC employs 24,000 hard working people. Maybe you should get off your lazy *** and join them instead of spreading your false lies.

KFC is no more connected to this abuse than any other business that sells chicken.
