Would learning BJJ help me in wrestling

Question

im going to be a sophmore and enter a new school and enter the wrestling team. Im totally new to wrestling so would Brazlian jiu jutsu help me? say i train bjj 3 days a week for an hour and half. How long would it take for me to use bjj with wrestling efficiently?

yes although judo throws one me 1st in state 130 lbs. last year 6th grade in kentucky
