Question:

Would leftover tacos be okay to bring as breakfast for my office tomorrow?

It is my week to bring Friday breakfast. I'm having some friends over for tacos tonight and I will likely have leftovers. Should I bring them in for breakfast instead of stopping for donuts/bagels/danishes? I think that would be a good way to spice things up.

  1. I think that would be great, but scramble some eggs up, maybe fry some potatoes, have the meat, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, chile, cheese or whatever else you are having... kinda like a taco scramble You could set it up buffet style let people choose their own toppings

  2. tacos for breakfast?!

    i agree, try breakfast burritos.

  3. i think they will be a little surprised when you bring tacos in for breakfast..i would stick with the donuts and stuff but its up to you.

edit: lol i dont think they are going to ask you to cater or bake cakes if you bring some bagels or donuts in LOL but it was pretty funny!!

  4. maybe make breakfast burritos with the leftovers so it isnt so obvious

  5. I like the cereal and milk idea....lol

  6. Tacos sound good. Fiesta Friday! I like it. ;)

Cereal is a very nutritious breakfast, so why make your coworkers choose? Incorporate the cereal into the tacos. It will add a little extra crunch, and fiber to boot. If you don't want that much crunch, just soak the cereal in milk before you add it in.

Happy Friday eve to you. I hope your office breakfast is a blast.

  7. That's a big NO-NO right there...throw that thought away. Leftovers? Geesh...why don't you just throw in the double dipped salsa in too? Why don't you just buy the donuts, cookies, bagels or whatever that is really breakfast food. Not leftover tacos...you'll be rumored as the cheapskate leftover taco bringer.

  8. Yes, if you also mixed in a 1/2 cup of liquified p**p, and called back some former coworkers who are experts at identifying the thoughts of others through a careful tasting of said p**p.

  9. Don't go with donuts. We don't need to gain weight. Go with your Taco ( if its authentic, even better ) unless its from taco bell. Those things are gross when they are left in the fridge over night.

  10. Why not? Make sure it is laced with little curly hairs...that makes things all the better!

  11. I would NOT bring leftovers...if there are any...Bring in bagels, rolls...have some class here.

If you want to spice things up, get a bunch of eggs and chop up onions and peppers into the mix like an omlett. Put it in a nice platter with crackers and different cheeses.

  12. No too left overs. Bring granola bars and bananas.

  13. Well I made my boyfriend left over taco's for breakfast I scrambled some eggs and reheated the meat, I used soft taco shell and he liked it, he put some salsa on it and asked for some more.

Personally I wouldn't mind it, as long as there were some eggs to make my taco for the morning but your co-workers might mind.

I guess its donuts/bagels/danishes. Maybe you should bring in some fresh fruit? Something healthy might surprise them!

  14. Ohh Mr. Lizard... I love how you roll "Office Space" style. I would say bring what you want and don't give a thought to what others think. That is how the main charactor Peter Gibbons was noticed and promoted to managment.

Why censor yourself and your ideas? I was just thinking last night they key to "coolness" and "charisma" is doing what you want and not worrying yourself on what others think. It really frees you up to be yourself.

I recommend also your milk idea. You will never again be asked to bring in food. Also, going to a store like the Grocery Outlet for the pastries and buy a generic brand that has already expired. Present it in the package with stolen napkins from a restaurant and leave the price tag on : )
