I just swung a trade for Brian Roberts and Miguel Cabrera and am now faced with a quandry.

Would Uggla be a good piece to move right now? The guy already has 23 HRs (which is only 8 away from his career high). Would it be worth trying to move him for a top pitcher and rely on Roberts to play 2B?? Or should I try and trade him for another position player to shore up my lineup??

Any trade suggestions would be welcomed...I'm stuck in 6th place in my league and have been ALL SEASON!

  1. Yeah, trade him.  He is playing above his head right now.  You could probably get a good SP considering there aren't too many great 2B's out there.  Or package him with another starter and try get an elite starter.

  2. Get a 2 for 1 deal

Go for Matt Cain or Tim Lincecum, they are hot right now.

Stay away from Volquez and Cliff Lee, they are on their way day.

  3. Definitely try to move Uggla.  I would try to get the best SP you could for him.  I would guess you could land a Shawn Marcum (On the DL but coming back soon) or similar #2 pitcher for him.
