  1. only the confident drivers would be left, no more 70 year olds going 20 in a 30 zone :)

  2. If you find getting hit by another car exciting then yes. If you are like me and don't like getting into accidents then no, it would just suck more.

  3. In the beginning there would be confusion and chaos, with many rearends.  Then drivers would adjust with lower speeds and greater headways between cars, resulting to reduced capacity of the roadways.  Travel time would increase.

  4. Amber? You mean yellow? Or what?

  5. Dont know about being more exciting but it would probably be shorter!

  6. no it wouldnt make them more cautious, it would create accidents, havoc, and death. then it would cause more traffic jams and people driving on the shoulder and then more accidents, havoc and death and people jumping out and getting into fights about why did you run the red light and people would rubberneck at that and not be watching the road as they are snapping pictures with their cell phone and hitting more cars, therefore accidents, havoc and death and soon noone would be left!!

  7. As a matter of fact, I have been places where there is no amber light.  When changing from green to red, the red comes on, the green remains on for a few seconds (replacing the function of the amber), then the green goes out.

  8. ur car need a remote control

  9. I've seem so many red lights run now, that it might be more exciting to have two amber traffic lights which would allow the drivers to have 10 more seconds to drive through on their own special time.(Steve-I sincerely hope you make it 70 some day so you can experience life at its fullness)

  10. no. it'd just result in more crashes.

  11. Your dead right

  12. It would cause more damages to vehicles... and no it wouldn't be thrilling.

  13. No, i think it will only increase the rate at which drivers die on the roads. And it will pander to the drivers who treat the road as their own personal racetrack.

There will be more accidents therefore there will be more traffic jams.

    Traffic jams are not exciting.

  14. It would be even more exciting, if we had only green lights.

Each intersection would be like a war zone.
