Question

Am I in an act of play,

did the clapper board come down

as I looked away?

I see the crowd,

their eyes embedded,

is this the nightmare,

that I've dreaded?

Standing alone,

the spot light screaming,

I hope to God

I am just dreaming.

It pretty good. The key to real good poetry is passion. This almost sounds forced or like your bored. Think to yourself would this be interesting to me if I read it? But all in all not bad.

this poem, is absolutely beautiful, structures perfect. rhyme scheme is good. first verse could use that last line, but it doesn't matter. its very very good. ignore the first guy that commented this. he's a douche.

But as the big curtain comes down,I can see a patron frown, as if I were in a trance,not a dance. Oh yes,I feel the heat,if I beat the drum,Where are you from,said the cumber bum.
