Would like to ask about networking two pc in one adsl provider. what should i use?

guys need help. i have two pc at home, and i'm planning to connect the other one thru internet, the other one is connected over the internet using adsl. what things do i need to buy? is it router? how to use this router? and if the other computer is off the other one will work? pls help me...

Purchase a router and install it in line with your DSL service.  This will allow for 4 more cabled hookups and wireless if needed also.

All machines can be on line at the same time, regardless on being turned on or not.

Get a router, that will at least give both your computer immediate access to the internet.

Then go into control panel - network connection

When you bring up Network Connections on the left under Network Tasks, you will see "Set up a home or small office network"  Hit that and it will set up your network.

Get a router (wired or wireless) and then set up a simple network to share Internet connection. You can access to Internet as long as the router and modem are on. Read the following tutorials to build your network..
