you can use the white pages at pagesblanches.fr, or the people search feature on wanadoo.fr.

there are 2 free websites (or somewhat free) which are very close from classmates.com. they are: copainsdavant.com and trombinoscope.fr.

It seems like that they are more in the senior age class, you can go onto the retired people magazines websites and see if they have a free online ad, you never know, they are publications like "notre temps".. use gGoogle and a lot of them will pop up.
