Would like to go to school for Gene Therapy..?

Hi , I finished highschool almost 10 yrs ago & continued on in getting a degree in the Culinary Arts but have since decided that that is not what I would like to do with my life (although it is a wonderfully fulfilling hobby)

Anyhoo, I am very intrigued with genetic science & was wondering how I might go about going to school for this .

Like I said its been 10 yrs since Ive taken any kind of science courses LOL so I was wondering if anyone knew any prerequosits or beginner courses that might help me get on the right track

Whichever school you are planning on going to should have an advising office where you can ask questions about what classes you should be taking for specific degrees. That would be your best bet.

But more generally, if you haven't taken science in that long you would want to start with basic 100 level science classes, probably in biology.
