Pres. Bush has asked congress to open up more Of Americas domestic oil resources, for exploration! The Demo. Congress has refused to let this come to a vote. Congress has changed their strategy. They are now attempting to block it!! by bringing up a bill that's is designed to fail it. This congress has been one of the most unproductive on record. They have failed to address the challenge of high gas prices. They need to take action on this vital priority so we can bring relief to us drivers. My question is what are you drivers gonna do about this? Please no silly answers, as this is of vital importance to most drivers. Congress wants to put taxes on GAS, and that would flow over to us the consumers, When is it gonna stop, and how much longer can we all afford this. Many businesses are now going bankrupt, and having to close down, which means many jobs are on the line!! Unemployment is going up on a daily basis, We have a candidate who's gonna change all of this!! I do not believe it for a minute. I will do my part and vote Republican, Its my duty as an American, a true one!! I would also like to know how many of you think as I, that those Demo. Congress members, have some kind of stock in foreign oil!

  1. nice blog Andy....you are sooo correct...

  2. A slight increase in domestic oil production does not outweigh permanent damage to the planet we live on.  Drive a smaller car, live close to where you work, do not speed, keep your tires inflated, carpool and plan trips so you don't waste what gas there is.  Above all, ditch the idea that Americans are entitled to whatever they want just because they want it.  The days of our being the major power in the world are over both financially and militarily not to mention morally.

  3. The more that's made available is just that much more Americans will use.  My sister-in-law lives in the UK, and she has a little Peugot diesel that gets 70 miles per gallon.  When will our government allow these cars to be sold in the US?  I'm sure I could buy one over there and import it, but after the import duties or whatever i'd have to pay are said and done, it won't be worth it financially.  She just spent a month here with her husband who saw a car commercial boasting 30 mpg.  He said, "They actually advertise that?  That company wouldn't sell even one car in Britain!".  It's pitiful that even hybrids don't get that kind of mileage.

  4. The oil companies currently have 35,000,000 acres of off shore leases that they've done nothing with. They don't need more , they need to get off their collective @sses and start some drilling, or use those record profits to expand alternative energy sources. Your boy "W" has let this happen on his watch. As far as McCain goes, he's toast.

Obama's gonna win, so get over it !
