I don't want to use an FM transmitter because of poor quality & static. I don't have a cassette player either so I can't adapt. It is simply a stock one disc cd player and am/fm radio. Thanks!

  1. one thing you could do is go out and buy an after market CD player that has output and input thats what i have.

  2. I DONT THINK YOUR 2006 FORD IS EQUIPPED WITH AN AUX INPUT , BUT I KNOW YOU CAN INSTALL AN AFTERMARKET AUX TO YOUR FACTORY RADIO, IF THATS THE WAY YOU WANT TO GO (I POD TO AUX) NOT I POD TO FM TRANSMITTER) HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-2006...

OR JUST GET AN AFTER MARKET CD PLAYER IPOD COMPATBLE WITH AN AUX INPUT AND INSTALL YOUR IPOD TO THAT RADIO WITH THE REQUIRED AUX CABLE NEEDED FOR WHATEVER CD PLAYER YOU CHOOSE.
