  1. No, you can't really use use ginger ale in a smoothie.  You're going to put it in a blender.  Fruit juice and gingerale together tastes fabulous- most punch recipes put those two together.  But for a smoothie, it just doesn't work.  Use fruit, add milk (any kind- lo-fat, fat-free, soy), yogurt, cream or ice cream and add some ice cubes.  It will taste great and have that smooth texture you want in a smoothie.  And if your fruit is not that sweet, you can add a spoonful or so of sugar.  


  2. Probably taste very good although the sugar in the soda kind of defeats the purpose of a fruit smoothie.   A little milk or cream might be a nice addition too ....lol

  3. that sounds awesome!  But why are you asking us? Be adventurous, just try it already!

  4. I use frozen fruit instead of ice cubes all the time! ...  But, be careful about putting carbonated beverages in your blender.  They expand like crazy and will probably overflow:) .....  Why not just put some sherbet into the gingerale and make a float?
