Would many white Americans, especially tall white Americans can't bear the hot weather in the USA in summer?

For example, would they sweat more and easily, which makes them quite uncomfortable or embarrassed; or would they feel stamina lacking seriously; or may some people get sick easily caused of heat or related to heat?

Thousands of hundreds years later will Americans become American Indians to adapt to the hot weather?

  1. Speaking for tall white americans everywhere, the answer is no.

"Thousands of hundreds years later will Americans become American Indians to adapt to the hot weather?"

That would be quite a transition. I am not sure how it would happen.

  2. Heat alone by itself does not cause any healthy person problems untill it gets over 115F. Now increase the humidity and you will find people dropping like flies, so it is humidity that causes the problems not just the heat by itself.

  3. A 97 degree day is great for a bike ride!  I'm a tall white American and the heat doesn't bother me.  On the other hand, I spend a lot of time outside, so I'm more acclimated towards the weather.  I can sit inside a non-air conditioned room without a fan and be relatively comfortable, as long as it's just reading.  No breathing problems or feeling sick.

You have to drink lots of water when exercising and you just have to be wise.   After much physical activity, sweating seems to be reduced, no matter the heat.  In fact, after awhile, the sweat no longer smells that bad, because all the toxins have been sweated out.  But then you reach a point where you are sweating out electrolytes which can make you feel ill, or lay you up if you're not careful.

People can get sick because of other problems.  They're just weaker because of age or disease-related.  Some people are not careful and wonder why running the five minute mile at the hottest part of the day during a heat wave, gave them heat stroke.

  4. I don't really understand what you're getting at, but it sounds racist.

As a tall white American, I love the hot weather. I have played 45 holes of golf on a day when it was a 110 degrees, I chose to take a vacation in Death Valley in August one year and was disappointed when it was only 115 degrees (it had been over 120 a couple of days before).

  5. OK I kinda get the tall and white thing - adaptations to habitats and all that even though you're kind of off a bit - tallness is more suited for heat because you have a larger surface area to eliminate the heat and keep your core temp down.

But what in the world would being American have to do with anything? Being born within a political boundary has no affect on your biology whatsoever.  And no they can't became American Indians without the genes in their gene pool.

  6. How tall is tall

I'm 6 feet Fair hair and fair skinned.  I work out in over 100 degree heat in at least 80 percent humidity  I haven't been sick I just keep hydrated
