Would mercury in scorpio tend to be a bit paranoid at times ?

with this placement you find an awful lot about people but won't tell them..........so wondering if merc scorp are feeling the same about themselves ??

BTW : I do not have merc in Scorp but merc in the 8th house and maybe sun in 8th house according to Placidus.

7th house sun with Koch.

So, my answer is yes, but so can any other mercury sign.

Yes.  Extremely paranoid.  And as someone else said motivated by jealousy.  I had a boss who had this placement.  It was a no win situation.  Didnt help that we had some squres between our charts too.

Mercury in Scorpio aren't they motivated by jealousy? That is what I thought. I agree with Janet too. Often they are naturally suspicious expecting bad things first. My friend has Scorpio in mercury. I have noticed the pessimistic attitude more lately. However, I have a Mercury in Leo, so I let it go.
